So the Crafty Ladies Guild meeting was..

Posted on

AWESOME!!!!!!!! I was seriously high on craftiness. Well, actually, I was super high after that Yoga for Creativity Class, Thank you Ally for teaching with me and making it super powerful and fun! After that we moved into the kitchen for tea and popcorn and such. I was glad that I wasn't the only Crafty Lady who came without a project! Turns out most of us didn't even have anything crafty to do, including myself which is embarrassing to admit! After prying myself away from the food, I started to cut some 11:11 stuff up which hardly seemed very crafty, as its my J-O-B..... So after a while I decided to break out the embroidery floss and boxes and boxes of tools and raw materials.... Christine ( check out her new sewing book out soon!) decided to embroider and Ashley ( A, your new Action! Cookie business inspires the hell(heaven!) out of me!)  taught me how to Crochet again! Seriously, this was so fun. Crochet is sooooo mindless and easy, wayyy easier than Knitting. I am now crocheting white mohair head bands,  I'll show you a pic when I am done. I  imagine I'll have alot of time for that when I go to jury duty on Thursday....

Anyhow, it was a small group this time...but I had SO much fun that I will for sure be planning another one for May. For the next one we'll have a theme and free lessons on how to make stuff, so if you aren't particularly crafty and you want to be, or perhaps you are OVER-crafty and a bit burnt out and you just want to do something different,  you can come and hang out and learn something fun.

Stay tuned!]]>
